MPL’s Review Of Twyst Singapore
I recently visited Twyst and was impressed by their unique fusion of flavors.
The Laksa Olio caught my eye, so I ordered it, and it didn’t disappoint. The spaghetti was perfectly cooked and had a subtle hint of laksa flavor without being too rich. The prawns were fresh, adding a nice bite with each forkful.
I also tried the Gochujang pasta, which had a spicy-sweet kick. The sauce clung nicely to the spaghetti, and the mushrooms brought an earthy taste that balanced the heat.
For something lighter, I ordered the Mussels in Tomato Sauce. The mussels were plump and juicy, and the sauce was tangy, making it great for dipping.
The Crispy Mid Wings were a nice side. They had a good crunch on the outside and were juicy inside—perfect for snacking. I had the wings with their refreshing iced lemon tea, which was light and not too sweet, making it a great choice to sip on between bites.
Though most dishes were enjoyable, the Mac & Cheese could have been better. It felt a bit plain and needed more flavor.
Overall, Twyst offers a creative take on pasta with local flavors. It’s a fun place to try something different without overspending. I’ll definitely return to explore more of their fusion dishes.
