MPL’s Review Of Tang Tea House Singapore.
Recently, I visited Tang Tea House in Singapore, a delightful spot that’s a dream come true for fans of authentic and diverse Chinese cuisine. From an array of dim sum to hearty mains, this place offers a culinary journey through flavors that are both familiar and exotic.
Let’s start with the dim sum – a section of the menu that truly shines. The Golden Sand Bun, with its unique blend of flavors, was a delightful surprise. The Pan Fried Chicken Dumplings were another hit, perfectly crispy on the outside and packed with flavor inside. For seafood lovers, the Har Kow and Deep-fried Shrimp Dumpling were must-tries, offering the right balance of texture and taste.
Moving on to the bento meals, I was impressed by the variety. The Standard Bento Meal with Thai Style Chicken Chop was a satisfying mix of flavors and textures, while the Vegetarian Bento Meal was a delightful option for those seeking a meat-free meal without compromising on taste.
The Satay section was another highlight. The Chicken, Beef, and Mutton Satay sticks were all grilled to perfection, accompanied by a deliciously flavorful Ketupat (rice cake).
Among the mains, the Salted Egg Brinjal and Black Pepper Beef stood out for their robust flavors. The BBQ Stingray was a dish that I would go back for – perfectly cooked with a delicious smoky flavor.
The variety of rice and noodle dishes also deserves mention. Each dish was a flavorful ensemble in itself, particularly the Shrimp Egg Yolk Fried Rice and the tangy, spicy Tom Yam Noodle Soup.
Ending the meal with their refreshing Chendol was the perfect way to cool down after such a rich, flavor-packed meal.
In summary, Tang Tea House is a must-visit for anyone looking to explore Chinese flavors in a casual and inviting setting.
