I recently visited Takagi Ramen Singapore and had a satisfying meal. The place is cozy, and the vibe feels welcoming.
I ordered the Salted Egg Crab Ramen and Chilli Crab Ramen, both unique to Takagi. The salted egg flavor is rich and creamy, pairing well with the crispy soft-shell crab.
The Chilli Crab Ramen had a nice kick – spicy but not overwhelming, and the sauce felt close to the local chili crab taste. These fusion flavors are truly special.
I also tried the Takagi Ramen and Black Tonkotsu Ramen. Both had deep, comforting broths. The Takagi Ramen’s Tonkotsu broth is smooth, while the Black Tonkotsu has an intense garlic flavor that stands out. Both ramen dishes came with tender chashu slices, and I loved the soft, flavorful ajitama egg on top.
The Fried Wanton on the side was crispy and satisfying. I dipped it in the spicy sauce for extra flavor, which I recommend.
For drinks, I had the Iced Yuzu Soda and Green Tea. The yuzu soda was refreshing and a bit tangy, balancing the richness of the ramen. The green tea, simple but strong, went well with each dish.
Takagi Ramen is a spot I’d return to for sure. It delivers both local taste and Japanese comfort in each bowl.
