MPL’s Review Of Penang Place Singapore

Penang Place is a gem for authentic Penang food. I visited recently and tried several dishes. The flavors brought back memories of Penang street food.

I started with the Penang Char Kway Teow with Big Prawns. The noodles were smoky and full of wok hei. The prawns were fresh and juicy. It was a hearty and satisfying dish.

The Penang Assam Laksa was tangy and aromatic. The tamarind broth was rich, and the mackerel added depth to the flavors.

For rice dishes, I chose the Beef Rendang with Rice. The beef was tender and soaked in fragrant spices. It paired so well with the fluffy white rice.

I also enjoyed the Nasi Lemak with Chicken Cutlet . The rice was creamy, and the crispy cutlet was a nice contrast.

I couldn’t skip the Chicken Satay. The skewers were smoky and juicy, with a peanut sauce that was thick and flavorful. For dessert, I had the Chendol. The sweet Gula Melaka syrup and creamy coconut milk were heavenly.

I paired the meal with a refreshing glass of iced barley. It was the perfect drink to cool down after the rich flavors.

Penang Place is a must-visit if you love Penang flavors. The variety and quality make it worth it!
