I recently visited Mr. Onigiri, and it was a delightful experience. Their onigiris are fresh and packed with flavors.
I started with the Signature Cheesy Crispy Chicken. The crispy chicken patty, melted cheese, and tartar sauce blended perfectly. The togarashi powder added a nice kick.
Next, I tried the Double Yummy Double Ebi. The prawns were juicy, and the tartar sauce enhanced the taste. If you love prawns, this is a must-try.
I also had the Otakotak Onigiri. It had a unique local twist with chunky fish otak and mentaiko sauce. The flavors were bold and spicy, a real standout.
For sides, I ordered the Tater Tots and Chicken Karaage. The tater tots were crispy and well-seasoned. The chicken karaage was tender and juicy, though I found it slightly oily.
To pair with the food, I enjoyed a Kimino Yuzu Sparkling Juice. It was refreshing and had a light citrusy taste. The Japanese Green Tea was a good balance for the richer flavors of the onigiris.
