MPL’s Review Of Bara Food Singapore

I recently visited Bara Food and had a delightful experience. The menu is packed with authentic Indonesian flavors, and I couldn’t wait to try the dishes.

I started with Gado Gado, a mixed salad drenched in rich peanut dressing. It was fresh and full of flavor. Then, I tried the Sambal Udang Kentang, which had perfectly stir-fried prawns and potatoes in a spicy sambal sauce. It was fiery yet delicious.

The Ayam Suwir Cabe Ijo was another standout. The shredded chicken soaked in green chili sauce had just the right amount of heat. For something crispy, I picked Cumi Goreng Tepung, deep-fried squid that was light and crunchy.

To balance the meal, I ordered the Nasi Bakar, grilled rice wrapped in banana leaves. It was aromatic and paired well with the mains. On the side, I couldn’t resist the Tempe Orek, sweet-glazed fried tempeh that added a nice texture.

For drinks, I went for the Ice Lemongrass Drink. It was refreshing and cooled down the spices from the food. The Happy Soda, with its fizzy rose syrup, was sweet and fun to sip on.

Overall, Bara Food is a great spot for authentic Indonesian cuisine. The dishes are vibrant, and the drinks complement them well. I’ll definitely return to try more items!
