MPL’s Review Of Alkove Singapore
I visited Alkove recently and had a wonderful experience. The cozy atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing meal. I tried a mix of their starters, mains, and drinks.
The White Truffle Mushroom Soup was rich and creamy. The hint of white truffle oil made it extra fragrant. It paired well with their Sourdough with Kombu Butter. The bread was fresh, and the butter had a unique umami flavor.
For the mains, the Tom Yam Seafood Marinara stood out. The tangy and spicy sauce was a perfect match for the fresh seafood. The prawns and clams were juicy, and the spaghetti was cooked just right.
I also loved the Duck Leg Confit. The meat was tender and flavorful, with crispy skin. The duck jus added a nice depth to the dish.
To drink, I had the Iced Spanish Latte. It was smooth, creamy, and not too sweet. I also tried the Yuzu Sparkling, which was refreshing and citrusy.
Overall, I had a great time at Alkove. Their dishes have a mix of bold and delicate flavors. The drinks complement the food well. It’s a place I would return to for a cozy and satisfying meal.
